Painting lessons for EXPATS in inspiring environment
Art class by Marcus van Soest, an experienced painter from the Hague. This artist has worked with some great international galleries and has experience in teaching Art, organizing Workshops, Art Class for educational purposes, schools, children, live painting at festivals and mural paintings!

in a relaxed atmosphere and meanwhile learn how to paint in acrylics?
The studio breathes an atmosphere of creativity has an inspiring effect on those who want to create some artwork of his own!
Painting lessons for Expats
The painting lessons will start on thuesday april 7 2009.
The lessons will be given in small groups, up to 12 people,
and are held in the english and dutch language.
Each student will be given personal guidance in creating a Work of Art.
Experience is not necessary: beginners will get special attention in learning the basics of painting techniques. Handling acrylic paint, colors, how to deal with form, composition, plasticity. There are many ways to start a painting, first step is to get over what i call, "the fear of the white", not knowing where to start.
Technique: painting in acrylics:
* How does one activate his imagination?
* How does one get a result with acrylics similar to oil paint?
* How does one construct dimensional imagery and create dept in a painting?
* How does the image get meaning?
You can work on a material of choice: paper, carton or canvas are options. Costs: 35 Euros each person ex. materials.
The lessons will be given each thuesday evening from 1900 till 2200.
Monday and thursday are optional
